One of the most valuable things you can do for yourself in the gym is to pay attention to what you’re doing. Immerse yourself in the movement at hand to where the only things that exist are the moment and you making the most of it. Nothing else should matter. If you’re not focused, you’re not maximizing your potential… which means you’re not getting closer to the results you want.
