First, let me start by saying I hate new year resolutions. Waiting until the new year to change often falls short of the
desired results because of the lack of desire, procrastination and frustration. And waiting for a number to change on the date doesn't change anything about our lives other than age. Willingness to better ourselves, put harder times behind us and act is what helps us to change things for the better.
So think about something you'd like to do better and start it up ASAP! Either this weekend or Monday. It can be diet, work out or lifestyle related. Come January you'll think "damn, I'm glad I didn't wait. I wouldn't feel as good as I do now if I waited." It's always tough to get started. And the longer you wait, the tougher it gets. We're creatures of habit and the longer a
habit is in place, the harder it is to break. On the flip side, the longer a positive habit is in place, the easier it is to maintain.
It's nevertoo late to start and EVERYBODY has the ability to do it. Whether you do it at home, a gym, my boot camp.... You can do this. Be smart, listen to your body, start light and work your way up through the proper progressions. If you're
beyond just starting, set your sights on a new goal and follow the same steps with the proper progressions. If it's diet, slowly cut out the junk you still eat but crave the least. As each week passes, try to cut something new while working your way to a cleaner diet with occasional day of rewards and treats.
Skip the as seen on TV hooks, fad diets and commercial shakes. Put in the work, balance a proper diet, and believe in yourself for a healthier lifestyle. And always keep your eyes on the prize! It's cliche, but the only thing that can hold you back is you. If you need it, I'm just a shout away for
