I will always push hard with my best and most genuine effort, but know when my body needs rest.
I will try things I’m not capable of performing and refuse to give up on perfecting them.
I will practice by pushing my limits until I’m satisfied and then pursue another challenge.
I will eat according to my goals but once a week will enjoy a meal I shouldn’t have.
I will enjoy myself and maintain an understanding of what’s important in life.
I will drink plenty of water.
I will never skip breakfast.
I will eat six meals a day.
I will stay active on my rest days by walking the dogs, playing baseball and hockey with my nieces and nephews, and going for a bike ride, just to name a few.
I will slip up and make mistakes, but I will learn from them and find a way to make myself better.
I will continuously look to others to learn and improve.
I will experience adversity, but I will find a way to push on and move forward.
I will get knocked down, but I will get up as quickly as I fell.
I will not give up. I WILL NOT be denied!
I WILL succeed!
Most importantly, I will do all of this while making time for my
family, friends, and loved ones.
