I dehydrated 5 halved jalapenos, 5 sweet peppers, 5 cloves of garlic and a handful of basil at 135 degrees. I left the seeds because I like the heat. Once dried out, I put it all in the Vitamix and ground it down. After that, I mixed it with an equal quantity of salt. Just like that... BOOM! A flavor explosion you won't find in a store. It'll work on anything... eggs, meats, veggies, healthy foods, unhealthy foods... It's worth the time.
Also, be aware and pay attention to how you grind this stuff up. The Vitamix keeps everything well contained. But it does create a light dust at first while grinding. Let it settle before opening the lid. Nobody needs jalapeno dust in their eyes!
